Crab Dip Recipe

This is THE best hot crab dip. I'm going to show you how to make what I consider the king of the hot dips, which begins, like most baked dips, with cream cheese, but the key ingredients I use really amplify that crabby flavor. Use the best lump crab you can find—but whether your budget has room for the finest fresh crab or just allows for canned crab, this easy baked dip will still be a hit at your party.

Ingredients

16oz of cream cheese
1/3 cup of sour cream
1/3 cup of mayonnaise
1/4 cup of ketchup
2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce
2 cloves of garlic
1 lemon
2 teaspoons of Old Bay Seasoning
2 teaspoons of paprika
1 teaspoon of hot sauce
1 teaspoon of black pepper
1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
6oz of cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of green onions
1lb of crab meat

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Farenheit
Step 2

Stir cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, lemon zest and juice,Old Bay, paprika, hot sauce, black pepper, cayenne pepper, salt, and 4oz of cheddar cheese together in a bowl until well combined.
Step 3

Add green onions and crab meat to the bowl; fold in gently with a spatula until evenly mixed.
Step 4

Transfer into bakign dish. Top with remaining 2oz of cheddar cheese and a shake of cayenne pepper.

Bake for 20 minutes.
Step 6

Let sit for 10 minutes. Garnish with green onions and old bay.
